About Our Family
We are a Catholic homesteading family with 8 children. We have built a cordwood/cob house in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, near the Porcupine Mountains and Lake Superior. Our homestead currently consists of a few jersey cows, a small goat herd, a couple of icelandic sheep, icelandic ponies, a pair of mules and a flock of chickens. There are a few families that are buying land near us to homestead as well, and we are excited about our growing homesteading neighborhood.
